Happy Birthday Fred and George…

First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRED AND GEORGE…..You have truly showed us that laughter is the best medicine and that some bonds are truly unbreakable.

Some characters bring so much to a series that it is close to impossible to think what the series would have been had they not been a part of it. Fred and George are undoubtedly two such characters that are an integral part of the world of Harry Potter. It is without any doubt in my mind that I confess that I would have half enjoyed the series had these twins not been a part of the book. I truly and deeply feel in love with the characters of Fred and George.

On their birthday, I bring to you some amazing reasons as to why Fred and George are one of the best parts of the Harry Potter world.

  1. Fred and George were the ultimate pranksters who had the best knowledge about all the castle’s secret passageways.

    Solemnly swear
  2. They’re the only students Peeves has ever taken orders from.

Fred looked around at the assembled students, and at the silent, watchful crowd. “If anyone fancies buying a Portable Swamp, as demonstrated upstairs, come to number ninety-three, Diagon Alley —Weasleys’ Wizarding Wheezes,” he said in a loud voice. “Our new premises!” “Special discounts to Hogwarts students who swear they’re going to use our products to get rid of this old bat,” added George, pointing at Professor Umbridge. “STOP THEM!” shrieked Umbridge, but it was too late. As the Inquisitorial Squad closed in, Fred and George kicked off from the floor, shooting fifteen feet into the air, the iron peg swinging dangerously below. Fred looked across the hall at the poltergeist bobbing on his level above the crowd. “Give her hell from us, Peeves.” And Peeves, whom Harry had never seen take an order from a student before, swept his belled hat from his head and sprang to a salute as Fred and George wheeled about to tumultuous applause from the students below and sped out of the open front doors into the glorious sunset.
  3.  Because one time in school, they repeatedly threw snowballs at Voldemort’s face.

    Snow ball
The lake froze solid and the Weasley twins were punished for bewitching several snowballs so that they followed Quirrell around, bouncing off the back of his turban.
  4. And they also tried to illegally enter the Triwizard Tournament.

“Ready?” Fred said to the other two, quivering with excitement. “C’mon, then — I’ll go first —” Harry watched, fascinated, as Fred pulled a slip of parchment out of his pocket bearing the words Fred Weasley — Hogwarts. Fred walked right up to the edge of the line and stood there, rocking on his toes like a diver preparing for a fifty-foot drop. Then, with the eyes of every person in the entrance hall upon him, he took a great breath and stepped over the line. For a split second Harry thought it had worked — George certainly thought so, for he let out a yell of triumph and leapt after Fred — but next moment, there was a loud sizzling sound, and both twins were hurled out of the golden circle as though they had been thrown by an invisible shot-putter. They landed painfully, ten feet away on the cold stone floor, and to add insult to injury, there was a loud popping noise, and both of them sprouted identical long white beards.
  5. Fred and George made you laugh when they joked around, especially with their mother.

  6. The twins shared the most fitting birthday.                                                                   Birthday

  7. And they were the comedic relief in even the darkest of situations.

“How do you feel, Georgie?” whispered Mrs. Weasley. George’s fingers groped for the side of his head. “Saintlike,” he murmured. “What’s wrong with him?” croaked Fred, looking terrified. “Is his mind affected?” “Saintlike,” repeated George, opening his eyes and looking up at his brother. “You see . . . I’m holy. Holey, Fred, geddit?” Mrs. Weasley sobbed harder than ever. Color flooded Fred’s pale face. “Pathetic,” he told George. “Pathetic! With the whole wide world of ear-related humor before you, you go for holey?” “Ah well,” said George, grinning at his tear-soaked mother. “You’ll be able to tell us apart now, anyway, Mum.”
  8. They also had a bit of a saucy attitude which was hilarious.

  9. They taught you that anything is possible if you have enough nerve.

  10. And they always had a positive outlook on their future.

    ❤ ❤ ❤
  11. And they treated their customers equally like true businessmen should.                          5 gallons

  12. Fred and George represented everything brothers should be.

  13. They stood by each other in the toughest of times and And fought as a team in the fight against evil.

  14. And even though tragedy struck our favorite duo…

George without Fred is just so wrong and incomplete 😦
  15. Their spirit will forever live in the books that have played such a vital role in our lives.                                                                                                                                        Mischief Managed
