Musings of a Reader’s returns and exchange policy allows you to return or exchange items purchased on Musings of a Reader for any reason within the specified return/exchange period (check the product details page). Returns will be picked up from the same address where the product is delivered. Feel free to try on a product, but we only ask that it remains unused and preserved in its original condition along with the tags and packaging. If a Seal Tag is received with the item, ensure that it remains attached & intact with the product to avoid any hassles in the event of a return/exchange. There are two ways to return the product to us:
Pickup: We offer a free pickup service in most locations. You will see a pickup option when you submit a return request.
Self-Ship: If we don’t offer a pickup at your location, we will credit the shipping costs as Musings of a Reader credit, provided the product meets the return policy and you have shared a scanned copy of the courier receipt.
During pickup, our delivery agent may check the quality of the return. For a successful pickup, we will initiate a doorstep refund for the return amount in the refund mode selected when initiating the return request. This doorstep refund may not apply to some pin codes, but the refund will be initiated after the product has been received at our warehouse and passed a quality check. If the picked-up product does not pass the quality check, we will return it to you. If you choose to exchange the item for a mismatch of size or receipt of a defective item, you will be provided a replacement free of cost.
However, all exchanges are subject to stock availability and your address being serviceable for an exchange. If you choose to exchange an item, our delivery representative will deliver the new item to you and simultaneously pick up the original item from you. Please note that we offer you an option to exchange items purchased by you on Musings of a Reader for the same or different sizes of the same style or any other item of the same or different value from Musings of a Reader within the specified exchange period subject to your address being serviceable for an exchange.

All items to be returned or exchanged must be unused and in their original condition, with all original tags and packaging intact. Note: The exchange/Replacement will be delivered to the same address where the original product was delivered. If you wish to receive an exchange at a new address, we recommend returning the item for a refund and placing a new order with the new address.
If you choose to exchange the item purchased by you on Musings of a Reader within the specified exchange period for the same size or a different size of the same style, you will be provided with a replacement item free of cost.
If you choose to exchange an item purchased by you on Musings of a Reader for any other item of the same or different value from Musings of a Reader. In such cases, if the exchanged item is of a higher value, you will be charged a difference in amount. If the exchanged item is of a lower value, differences in amount will be refunded to you after successful pick up of the original item from you.
The Net amount paid by you (excluding instant cashback/discount) to purchase the original item will be considered to calculate the difference in the amount of the original and exchanged item, which will be payable by you or refundable by Musings of a Reader as the case may be, for an exchange.
An applicable refund for the exchange will be triggered after you successfully pick up the original item.
All exchanges are subject to stock availability and your address being serviceable for an exchange.
An item cannot be exchanged for multiple products, but you can select a single item for exchange. However, a customer can exchange various items simultaneously by initiating a separate exchange request for each item.
Non-returnable products/categories cannot be exchanged.
The Platform Handling Fee (defined under the ‘Terms of Use’) does not apply to exchanged orders.
Musings of a Reader shall reserve the right to restrict the exchange of the items purchased on Musings of a Reader if a customer in any way breaches or misuses this policy, as determined in Musings of a Reader’s sole discretion. If you have purchased an item with a gift/offer and wish to return the main item, you must also return the free product.
Musings of a Reader will not be liable for products returned by mistake. When an extra or a different product is returned by mistake, Musings of a Reader is not accountable for the misplacement or replacement of the product and is not responsible for its delivery back to the User.
If you self-ship your returns, please pack the items securely to prevent any loss or damage during transit. We recommend that you use a reliable courier service for all self-shipped returns.
If you self-ship your returns, your shipping costs will be reimbursed, subject to your return meeting our Returns and Exchange Policy. We will share the image of the courier receipt with you and validate it. For self-ship returns, the refund for returned products will only be initiated if they pass a quality check conducted at the warehouse. If the quality check fails, the product will be reshipped to you.
